Old Friends Farm Tour - Nov. 12 - 12:00 p.m.

The 2023 Secretariat Festival is proud to add Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Facility to our Farm Tour roster for Sunday, Nov. 12 at 12:00 p.m. The tour will be personally hosted by Old Friends founder Michael Blowen.

Old Friends, the non-profit thoroughbred retirement center founded in 2003 is a "living history museum" of horse racing. Meet some of America's famous retired stallions including the oldest living Kentucky Derby winner Silver Charm; beloved handicap champion Lava Man; Groundshaker, the last horse owned and raced by Penny Chenery's Meadow Stable; and 2011 Secretariat "Vox Populi" Award winner Rapid Redux, among the other treasured horses at this equine haven.

PLEASE NOTE: TOUR TICKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED. This will be an individual party tour with attendees providing their own transportation to the farm located at 1841 Paynes Depot Road in Georgetown. Present your name and purchase order confirmation number upon check-in at the visitor entrance 10 minutes prior to tour. For more information, please call (502) 473-1036.
